Acquiring and examining proof of illegal activity

Report on revenue losses and damages from contract breaches

Investigate intricate business problems to minimize the risks

Prepare forensic accounting reports from financial findings

Presenting the court's members with comprehensive and authoritative proof of financial violations

Perform regular financial record audits to ensure compliance with the law

Ensure all accounting procedures follow legislation

Maintain orderly records for all legal cases

Must ensure the confidentiality of all information

Forensic Accountant

Requirements

BSc degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

Proven work experience as a Forensic Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant role

2 years of experience in accounting or auditing is required

Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering laws

Familiarity with spreadsheets and accounting software

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent numeracy skills with an ability to spot inaccuracies

The ability to handle confidential information

Additional qualification in Economic Crime Investigation or Law Enforcement will be a plus
